Looking to build off of their stunning display from earlier in the week, Tottenham will welcome Burnley to north London on Sunday lunchtime.
Tottenham
Starting with the hosts, putting in a stunning display as they stormed their way to north London bragging rights earlier in the week, the mood in Tottenham s camp will be at a red-hot high. Eventually breezing their way to a 3-0 romp against their bitter local rivals, Antonio Conte s men now have their sights set on making a late charge for the top-four. With a Champions League return firmly at the top of their agenda, the one-time Chelsea boss will know that victory here would see them temporarily leapfrog the Gunners. Also impressing at Anfield last weekend as they played out a 1-1 draw against title contenders Liverpool, Conte s side have now lost just one of their previous nine outings. Looking to lay down another marker on Sunday, fans around north London will be calling on attacking talisman Heung-Min Son to spearhead their charge on home soil. Once again finding the net against Arsenal in midweek, the South Korean ace has racked up nine goals in just his last eight domestic contests.
Team News
Missing out against Arsenal earlier in the week, Tottenham are still sweating over the fitness of key defender Cristian Romero.
Likewise, Spurs will once again be without the quartet of Sergio Reguilon, Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga and Matt Doherty on Sunday lunchtime.
Burnley
As for the visitors, putting in what was a flat display at Turf Moor last weekend and missing out on what they would have earmarked as a real chance, Burnley will be seeking an immediate response here. Nevertheless, despite eventually getting hit with a 3-1 loss at home against Aston Villa last time out, the Clarets have enjoyed an immediate boost under interim boss Mike Jackson. Getting the post-Sean Dyche tenure off on a four-match unbeaten run last month, Sunday s guests have also managed to find a route out of the drop zone. However, making the trip to north London on Sunday with just their goal difference keeping them outside the bottom-three, it should be noted that Burnley have continued to struggle on the road this season. Aside from picking up a 2-1 victory against Watford in their last appearance away from Turf Moor, that is only the second Premier League away win that Jackson s temporary squad have picked up this campaign.
Team News
In what could be a real blow for Burnley and their charge for survival, James Tarkowski is a major doubt after limping off against Aston Villa last weekend.
The Clarets will also be without the trio of Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Ashley Westwood and Matej Vydra in north London.
