2024 hasn’t been as densely packed with all-time great releases as 2023 was, but it’s still been a stellar year so far, with its first half already having delivered a litany of excellent experiences, both single-player and multiplayer. And if the former is what you’re more concerned with as a players, there’s plenty more still in the pipeline. Street Fighter 6 continues to sell copies at a steady rate. As of March 31 earlier this year, the fighter had sold 3.3 million units, and Capcom has now announced that it has hit another major milestone. Taking to Twitter, the company revealed that Street Fighter 6 has sold over 4 million units worldwide across all platforms. 

“Thank you for playing and for helping us reach this milestone,” the company wrote. “We hope you’re excited for the future of SF6 as we intend to release more content and hold mSports Bettingore events!”

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 has inordinate hype surrounding it, nominated for Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards 2024 and winning Most Wanted Game at the Golden JoysOnline Bettingtick Awards. And while there’s a lot we don’t officially know about the title, Rockstar Games teased “absolutely mind-blowing things” upon accepting the award.

Sunderland have completed the signing of former Everton and West Brom forward Victor Anichebe, the club announced on Friday. 

Anichebe joins on a one-year deal as the club s ninth signing of 2016-17. 

The 28-year-old had been a free agent since his three-year contract at West Brom came to an end at the conclusion of last season.

He is no stranger to Sunderland manager David Moyes, having played under the Scotsman at Everton between 2006 and 2013.

Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested Wayne Rooney s criticism of his behaviour at Manchester United is rooted in jealousy.

Ronaldo has been the subject of a great deal of scrutiny this season, having pushed for a move away from United ahead of the August kick-off.

Christopher Nkunku has been ruled out of the World Cup after the France striker suffered a knee injury in training on Tuesday.

The RB Leipzig frontman took a knock in a challenge with Eduardo Camavinga as they contested a 50-50 ball and he had to be helped off the field.

It was later confirmed Nkunku will not travel to Qatar after tests revealed he had sprained his left knee.

The French Football Federation sent Nkunku s medical file to FIFA in order for the defending champions to call up a replacement.

He is expected to be replaced by either Wissam Ben Yedder, Moussa Diaby, Morgan Terrier or Randal Kolo Muani.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez pointed to history as evidence his reigning champions will again be contenders at the Copa America.
