Senna injury blow for Villarreal

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku admits he could leave Goodison Park at the end of the season and says he would relish working with Jose Mourinho again.

Mourinho allowed Lukaku to join Everton from Chelsea initially on loan in 2013, after the Belgium international failed to hold down a first-team place at Stamford Bridge.

A £28million permanent switch followed in July 2014 and Lukaku has racked up 28 goals in 65 league appearances since.

Manchester United are among the clubs to have been linked with Lukaku and, with Mourinho the favourite to succeed under-pressure Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, a reunion between the pair could be on the cards.

World Cup-winning France defender Adil Rami has joined Boavista on a two-year contract after spending over three months as a free agent.

The 34-year-old former Marseille and Milan centre-back left Sochi, where he made no first-team appearances, in May after claiming the Russian side failed to pay him.

Boavista finished 12th in the Primeira Division in 2019-20 but are shaping up strongly for the new season, having signed former Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes – on loan from Lille – and Javi Garcia before adding Rami to their ranks.

Player representative Paul Stefani told Sport.co.uk that the 22-year-old Standard Liege star is ready for a summer move after recovering from a couple of serious injuries.

Turkey coach Guus Hiddink has refused to rule out a move to rejoin English Premier League club Chelsea.

Dutchman Hiddink, 64, joined Turkey in August 2010, but has endured a mixed Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.

Turkey have won three and lost two of their five matches played to sit third in Group A, one point behind Belgium and six back from leaders Germany.

Hiddink came in for fierce criticism following a 1-0 defeat to Azerbaijan and has been linked with a move back to Chelsea, who are without a manager following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti.
