Bastia have strengthened their squad with the capture of goalkeeper Mickael Landreau, who has signed a six-month contract with the Corsicans.
Landreau, who has 11 caps for France, left his former side Lille earlier this month, terminating his contract by mutual consent after making over 100 appearances for the 2011 French champions.
A statement on Bastia s website read: Sporting Club Bastia is pleased to announce the arrival of Mickael Landreau.
The goalkeeper has indeed validated the club s project by signing a contract for six months. For reasons of timing and Christmas, the signing of the contract will be held in the middle of next week.
The official presentation of the player will be on 31st December.
Bastia sit 13th in Ligue 1 with 22 points and have a six-point cushion from the relegation zone after securing a 4-2 victory over Nancy on Saturday.
